I was at the Shady Grove office today (12/17/24 around 10:55 to 11:20 AM) to pick up CPAP supplies. I waited over 20 minutes for the technician to give me my supplies. When I check in with her, she seemed confused that I was coming in to pick up supplies and I informed her that I just received an appt reminder about coming to the office between 10 am to 1 PM to pick up supplies. It took her almost 2 minutes to I guess figure it out and asked me to sit down. Then 10 to 15 minutes goes by, and I haven't got my supplies. Picking up supplies to me would only be 5 minutes max!!!. So, I went to the desk and the other girl was like, well that technician is helping you right, and I said, yes, but it shouldn't take this long to pick up supplies. She did check with that technician and said she is working on getting my supplies. Well I told her I have to be somewhere else and I need to leave in 10 minutes. About 2 minutes later, the technician came with my supplies and said that I had an appt and that I have to wait. I told her that in May they sent me the wrong size and she took it out of my hands to make the exchange. When she came back, I said, well you know that I had an appt for today, then my supplies should be ready!! She was very rude and condescending, poor customer service. I SHOULD NOT have to wait over 20 minutes to get my supplies. I should have asked for her name when after walking out, but was just angry with how she treated me!!. This technician was Asian (Filipinos. with blonde highlights in her hair). I hope this feedback will prevent her from treating other patients the way she treated me. I think someone needs to share this with her and discuss what positive customer services means and the need to be pleasant and compassionate.

The billing practice is a scam, they will continue to erroneously bill you weeks and months after your visit. This office, and everyone that works here, seems to play loose with the rules of medical billing. I will never go back, and would never recommend this place to anyone. 1 star is more than they deserve, I would leave zero stars if it was possible.

We never really saw a certain Dr. and our office visit was fine. My issue is with billing. I have paid my office visit for 1- in office copay and then I get a copay bill for my overnight stay. I pd it online. NOW I keep getting the same bill with the same amount. I have asked multiple times to send me a bill SHOWING what I have pd. You can't keep sending me a bill for the same amount without reflexing what I have already pd.

Update to review: This office is not only unhelpful but also seems to be totally messed up with billing. Despite having been charged a co-pay every single time I step foot in that office and not having had any more appointments for several weeks, I continue to receive new bills indicating that I owe more and more co-pays! None of these bills make sense. I regret ever contacting this office on so many levels! I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Mehndiratta. I went to Sleep Services of Maryland because I have been struggling with persistent sleep problems for several months. Across several visits and sleep studies at this office that spanned 2 months, Dr. Mehndiratta spent a total of 5-10 minutes talking to me - the rest of the time I was with technicians. Even though the at home sleep study indicated I did not have sleep apnea, Dr. Mehndiratta was convinced I did have sleep apnea (again -- after spending almost no time talking to me to try to understand my actual situation). After a more in-depth sleep study indicated I do not have sleep apnea, all he did was refer me to another sleep study center (and he actually gave me the wrong number for that center and still has not called to provide the correct number, even though I have reached out to ask for it). I don't know if he is simply too busy to really spend time focusing on any one patient or that he really only specializes in sleep apnea and insomnia so is unable to address anything more complex that might be going on, but I felt I had very little actual attention or support from him or his office. Even when he was convinced I had sleep apnea, he did not really go over symptoms or risk factors and the entire time I was going to Sleep Services of Maryland I found myself needing to do significant research online to fill in all the gaps in information I was left with after my appointments. Very very disappointed.

I have been a patient here for a few years now, and initially I was relieved to finally find a sleep doctor with an office that seemed responsive and organized. Unfortunately, that has changed more recently. The last few times (spaced over months) I have gone in for an appointment, I am not seen until an hour after my appointment time. The Rockville office also will not answer the phone, and they will not answer emails. I have to submit additional paperwork to the MVA to renew my driver's license, and so I made an appointment to have the doctor fill out this paperwork. That went fine, except I wasn't seen until an hour after my appointment, while multiple people who arrived after me were seen first. Now, a couple weeks later the MVA sends me another form related to renewing my driver's license. I call and speak with someone [who I later find is in the Germantown office?] and explain the situation and that I really don't want to come in again and have to use my leave (and wait an extra hour) for what is the same process, and a form that honestly is entirely redundant to what the doctor already submitted. They tell me I can scan it and email it and it'll get processed and returned. I get no response to my email, I forward it again asking for a reply because I am not sure they received it. Nothing. So I call, and [speak with someone, not sure who because they never say] am told I have to come in, we go in circles about this for awhile and then they say OK, I will send it to the doctors again and say it is urgent. Now, I get a phone call from the Germantown office saying they have been going back and forth with the Rockville office via email [apparently they just ignore patient emails] about this, and they understand that it is entirely unnecessary to make me go in for this. I have the direct line to the Rockville office now, not that it matters because they absolutely will not answer the phone. It's also worth noting that everyone would have saved so much time if they would have just filled this form out and returned it in the first place. What should be an annoying, but relatively simple process has turned into an extended, multi-week mess of arguing with these people, who are I guess trying to extort another office visit out of me for a single page form? If I have to go to any doctor's office and waste more time and leave [that I don't have to spare] from work, you can bet it won't be this one.

I am extremely impressed with Dr. Mehndiratta at the Sleep Services of Maryland. I had my 2nd sleep study at Sleep Services of Maryland this week. It's a Professional, Quality, First Class Sleep Center! All the staff was so pleasant and welcoming too. My overnight sleep study room looked like a classy hotel room. The bed was super comfortble, the room was nicely decorated, gave a calming vibe and everything was super clean. Now that I had my 2nd sleep study at the Sleep Services of Maryland, I now know what a Quality Sleep Center looks like! It is hard for me to believe what a major diffence a Quality facility can make, but it does. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mehndiratta, her Stellar Staff and my overall experience at Sleep Services of Maryland, thank you! Paula Broglio

These was the third time I went to clinic. The first two times the front desk not nice, honesty they did not do the job right. They gave me the appointment, gave card to reminder but when I call makes sure they say I’m wrong, then o show the card. After they make me waiting longer and keep talk about myself. I really fill bad. Then December 21st 2022 I went to do my sleep study over there, I got a technician so nice she is amazing, very patient and explained very well the procedure, talk very calm make me so comfortable. I know you will ask me if I go back. Sure just because the night technician. She really know what she doing how to do. God bless her.

If you don’t recommend, you don’t get the opportunity to rate the business. So there are many reviews you may not see. I waited for 30 plus minutes just to pick up my equipment. I took two tests and I did not receive a copy of my report directly. The doctor was two hours late for my follow up. When I finally spoke to him, I was rushed off the phone and so don’t feel as though I receive a proper explanation of the test results. All I was told is that I need to get a CPAP machine. I’m considering getting a second opinion because I don’t know that I’m fully comfortable with their process.

Dr very knowledgeable in sleep disorders, especially Sleep Apnea. Staff is always very courteous and service is great. The Doctor definitely fixed my issue!
